New !kde 4.4 splash screen is missing. Old one is loaded instead. Installed kde 4.4 from ppa ubuntu backports. Anybody knows how to fix it?

#nfs-common stopped working on !debian. #statd wasn't able to register itself anymore. deinstalling #portmap and installing #rpcbind helped.

#Chromium feels as sluggish as firefox once a few heavily javascript loaded tabs are open. I'm kinda disappointed. :(
